We live in and around the city and love to ski and snowboard! Established in 1960, North Toronto Ski Club is a traveling downhill, cross-country and snowboard club run by member volunteers. Our club is small enough to be open and friendly but big enough to provide all the benefits of a large ski club by restricting our membership to 1,100 members.
We offer Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday daytrips for downhill skiers and snowboarders and Saturday/Sunday cross-country trips to destinations in and around Ontario. We have three convenient bus pick-up points around the city and our destinations vary each week.
We also offer weekend and week-long ski charters to a variety of out-of-province, out-of-country and where economical, off-continent destinations. Our buying power gets you the best deals possible.
With nearly 70 downhill, cross-country and snowboard instructors, we can provide ski or snowboard lessons to you at any level, from beginners to experts alike.
We like to keep in touch with our members, so we hold a lot of regular as well as special get-togethers.
We hold regular, informal get-togethers called General Socials every two weeks (usually on a Thursday) throughout the winter season, which are open to members and guests alike. They are your opportunity to get to know fellow members and participate in some fun activities.
We also hold events called Special Socials such as Start Up Bash, Pub Crawl, Holiday Party Dinner & Dance and the Year-End Dinner & Dance.
At least once a month, we have a regularly scheduled Après ski party at one of the resorts. We stay for dinner and dance to the tunes spun by our own DJ on our own equipment. Not to outdone, our Cross Country contingent are renowned for some of their themed Après.
Join North Toronto Ski Club and meet a group of men and women (minimum age 19) who are friendly, enthusiastic and who love to ski, snowboard and socialize.
