Killington is well known for late season skiing because of where they are located and being at a higher elevation. You will not be disappointed in this spring skiing destination. Killington is to the end of the season what Keener was to December - you will have FUN!

Alpine Day trips

Saturday, March 13th - Fun Day Après at MSLM
You've seen it on TV and it's back again by popular demand, NTSC's Amazing Race 2 will take place at Mount St Louis/ Moonstone on Saturday March 13th followed by an "Under the Sea" Après and prizes.

No need to pre-book to get on a team, just show up after lunch at 1:30 where we usually gather for lessons on the St Louis side. You won't want to miss this!

Sunday, March 14th- Blue Mountain
Bus picks up at: 7:00AM at Merton, 7:15AM at York Mills & Yonge; 7:30AM at Hwy 400&7. Return is 5:00 PM.

Wednesday, Mar.17th - Devils Glen
Bus picks up at: 6:45AM at Merton, 7:00AM at York Mills & Yonge; 7:30AM at Hwy 400&7. Return is 5:00 PM. Please remember that if we have 30 people on the waiting list for any Wednesday trip a second bus will be added.

Cross-Country Day Trip on Saturday, March 13th

Horseshoe Resort Moonlight Ski
Horseshoe Resort is our destination for our Moonlight Ski on Saturday March 13th. The trip will have a late start leaving Merton St. at 11:30am, 11:45am from York Mills and Yonge and 12:00 noon from Hwy 7 and 400.

Total cost for this trip is $40 for members and we'll be leaving the resort at about 8:00pm.

Lessons for Classic and Skate techniques will be offered at this location in the afternoon. Sign up on-line or on the bus.

Election Night

Election Night, April 15th, will be held at Whistler's, 995 Broadview. It will start at 7:30PM. This meeting is open to members only.

Stay tuned over the next few weeks for more details about Election Night, the positions that are open and how to submit your name or nominate someone else for a position.

NTSC's 50th YEAR END GALA DETAILS

When
Friday, April 23rd
6:00PM to late.

Where
The Metropolitan Ballroom in Atlantis at Ontario Place. The ballroom is surrounded by spectacular views of the Toronto skyline and Lake Ontario.

When
The Reception will begin at 6PM in the private mezzanine overlooking the ballroom with cocktails and appetizers, followed by a buffet dinner in the main ballroom.

The cost:
$75.00 per person.

What's included?
Open bar offering red and white wine, domestic beer, highballs, pop, juice and sparkling wine punch.

Sumptuous buffer dinner featuring five leaf garden salad, Mediterranean salad, penne in tomato basil sauce, ricotta filled agnolotti with roasted red pepper cream sauce, grilled chicken breast with mushroom port sauce, sliced roast beef, grilled Atlantic salmon, seasonal vegetables, mini roasted red potatoes and mushroom rice.

A dessert table with fruit basket and petite fours, coffee and tea.

Music supplied by a professional DJ and dancing until 1AM.

How to get there
We will have a bus dedicated to shuttling people from Union Station to Atlantis (between 5:30 - 7:30) so that everyone can take public transit easily to the event and then back to Union Station (from 11:30PM - 1:30AM). For those that wish to drive, parking is available at the rate of $5.00 for the evening.

Tickets only on Sale until April 15th - Get them while they last!
There will only be a limited number of tickets sold on first come, first served basis. Tickets may be purchased at any upcoming general social or by mailing cheques to: NTSC; Attention: VP of NTSC. All cheques must be made payable to the North Toronto Ski Club.
