FULL SCHEDULE
This is a day packed full of events. Pick the timing that is right for you. While the King’s Plate Race (the race the event is named after) typically takes place between 4:00 and 5:00 pm, we strongly recommend arriving no later than 1:00–2:30 pm to take full advantage of the pre-race festivities and interactive experiences with NTSC members and other guests alike.
We suggest an initial meeting as a group at 2:00, at the Hall of Fame. It’s located in a inside covered area that’s ideal for regrouping and easy to spot.
11:30 am Gates open, enter through gate 10
1:00 pm Meet members for lunch at Homestretch Bar Suites (optional)
3:30 Take your seats for the race in Section 412, row F.
We are close to the finish line to capture the highlights of the horses as they compete for that photo finish moment and the $1M purse.
4 - 5:00 Watch race
6:00 pm Have dinner at Stella Artois Terrace (optional)
KING'S PLATE EXPERIENCES
Arrival & Entry
Doors open at 11:30 am. Upon entering through Gate 10, you’ll be greeted by the lively energy that sets the tone for the day.
Morning Entertainment
Before the races begin, we can enjoy live entertainment, including a military marching band performing the national anthem, and roaming musical acts across the property. These performances are held before the first race and wrap up by approximately 12:30 pm. We encourage early arrival to catch the full show.
Photo Moments & Themed Spaces
Throughout the building, you’ll discover themed photo installations along with curated food and beverage pop-ups designed to reflect the spirit of each floor. These spaces are perfect for socializing, snapping photos, and soaking in the ambiance of the day.
Dress to Impress
King’s Plate Day is as much about fashion as it is about racing. Guests are encouraged to bring out their race-day finest: think bold colors, fascinators, summer suits, and standout accessories. It’s a great chance to take part in the tradition and capture stylish photos throughout the venue.
While many take this opportunity to get decked out and dress to impress, this is not a prerequisite to attend. You do you; feel fabulous as you are!
Up Close with the Horses
Just steps from the entrance is the Paddock area, where you can view the horses as they are paraded and prepared for each race. It’s a unique opportunity to get an up-close look at the contenders before placing your bets.
Trackside Access
We can also access the designated open apron, located in front of the main track. It’s a popular spot to feel the thrill of the race just feet from the action before returning to your seat for a break.
EXPLORING THE FLOORS
Second Floor – Here you’ll find the main betting hall, featuring its own food court and the historic Royal Boxes, the designated seating area for dignitaries and visiting members of the Royal Family. In previous years, guests included the Governor General, Mayor Olivia Chow, Premier Doug Ford, and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. While we cannot confirm attendance for this year, the second floor would be the place to catch a glimpse should any of them return.
Third Floor – The lively Stella Patio is where the DJ will keep the energy high with curated music throughout the afternoon.
Fourth Floor – NTSC is seated here. You’ll enjoy a dedicated themed experience, complete with betting kiosks, food stations, and photo opportunities — offering both excitement and convenience throughout the day.

- Cost is $60 per member.
- An NTSC Social Committee Rep will transfer individual tickets a few days before game day.
- You'll need a Ticketmaster app and account to receive the tickets.
- Registration closes Aug. 10, 11:59 PM.

Parking & Transportation
Complimentary parking is available on-site. Woodbine Racetrack is also accessible via TTC's Islington station, with stops conveniently located near Gate 11. If you’re using a ride-share service, ask the driver to drop you off at Gate 10’s Racetrack entrance.
